Conquer club [Risk type Game]

I've been thinking about this as of late. I want to further bring together this community through games easily accessible to many of our members, to provide something to do while waiting for the next update. To start off this campaign I bring you Conquer Club.

From what I'm told it is kind of like the board game Risk. Players take turns deploying units, taking over other peoples territories and reinforcing your own land. Turns take only minutes to take, but you are given a 24 hour grace period to start your turn, giving you plenty of time. Games can take place over several days, or a matter of minutes depending on how many players [Max of 8] and how active the members of the game are.

From what little I've played it seems to be a well balanced game, providing several settings to play with, as well as many different maps which each require a different strategy. A large community ensures games a plenty.

If anyone is interested in starting a friendly game between the Element community, we can work out the details through IRC (prefered for larger games) or in this thread.

It still has the risk gameplay, but you are able to further able to customize the games, making a 2 minute speed game to a lengthy 3 week grace period on turns. You can even include bots in the games.

The interface is a little bit more daunting than CC, and takes some getting used to, but private games and such are available. The only thing premium gets you at landgrab is to get rid of the 4 game limit.

So this is the perfect version to arrange group games with. So if you are only interested in group games, join up to this one. I'll see you all soon.

So then do I just chalenge you to a game...? How's this work?

You simply join a game, or make one. Basic users are limited to 4 games. They are also limited by being denied making password or speed games, although from what I've read we are free to join them. Either we get lucky and join a game with the others or we plan a game when we are online. IRC would be best of course.

I can't. I'm only online 5am to 10am, bad times.

Well you can always try making four games at 10, then maybe we will get lucky and we can join them before they fill up.

Small bump, but I have found a solution to our problem Brainee. Landgrab is a similar game, but it has all the features of CC for the basic accounts, except for the 4 game limit. SO if you still want to play this will make things much easier than dealing with luck to provide us a slot in someone elses game.

EDITagain: Alright, I've set up a game and you're invited. The other two players are nooby bots, to set up a nice 1 on 1. It's a Middle Earth map, using the rules off the game box for Risk. (NOT the rules they supplied.) Other than that, it's a pretty normal game. Hope to see you there. (Is speaking to ChaosKnight, as Coin3 doesn't have an account.)
